Quality clothes that come with a resounding price tag are usually the focus of fashion magazines around the world as soon as the Spring collections hit the runway. But every once in a while, designers surprise us with very elaborate accessories lines that steal the show and become must-haves for every fashionista.

This time, famous designers like Gucci’s Frida Gianinni or the mastermind behind 3.1 Phillip Lim decided that this spring we’re painting the town red, blue, green, yellow and any other colour we can find. It’s all very refreshing and joyful so we should take note of their suggestions and draw inspiration from some of the most creative accessories presented on the runway or displayed in fancy showcases of Jimmy Choo, Prada, Chanel, Gucci stores and alike.

Shoes:
What about a nude pair of Phillip Lim’s to make you feel comfortable on your way to brunch on a bohemian little terrace on a sunny spring day? Delicate and with just a touch of glam, in the shape of a small flower made ofcolourful stones, it’s the perfect choice for a casual style.
There’s a little inspiration for rainy days too, coming from Alexander McQueen’s virtual closet, with a pair of blue loafers with metallic inserts to protect the fragile fabric from getting wet; a stylish yet comfy choice.
Colour is the word of the day for evening wear as well. There’s nothing like a good pair of stilettos, and Sophia Webster’s pink butterflies compliment the perfect romantic outfit for your Valentine date. If you want something a bit more wearable and versatile, maybe a pair of fashionable wedges sounds like a better choice. AlexandreBirman has a lovely suggestion with a sleek pair in springtime yellow with a discrete crocodile print.

Bags:
Spring collections are more generous than ever this year when it comes to bags. From smart-chic nude totes for a long shopping day in the sun to small clutches in eccentric colours to brighten up an outfit and draw attention to your ensemble.
Chanel proposes a very uncharacteristically-punk design for a backpack:washed out colours, a blurred logo and dozens of colourful ropes and chains. Quite a striking combination but it’s good to know there’s finally a fashionable choice for ladies who prefer backpacks over bags.
Another versatile option for a day outfit is Gucci’s fringed shoulder bag in royal blue. It’s comfortable, spacious and easy to accessorise (since the impressive fringes make any other jewellery go unnoticed). OK, maybe it’s not the most versatile thing since you need to pay attention not to get it dirty or caught in elevator doors, but it will be sure to get a few admiring glances.
If you really want to give out a sunny vibe and wear spring on your shoulder, Jimmy Choo’s small neon orange bag is the ideal choice. It’s impossible not to love it! A spicy colour with a shiny finish and just the perfect size to fit your wallet and your camera on a sunny walk in the park. Plus it’s waterproof if there are any unexpected showers. While we’re talking wallets, this Trussardi one is the perfect travel companion, with compartments to keep all your documents perfectly organized while you shop around. Some colourful totem key chains like Phillip Lim proposes will keep your keys happy and easy to reach.
You don’t want to go unnoticed on an evening out either, and a ‘chameleon’ clutch will succeed in getting all eyes on you. Large enough to pack some extra make-up, it changes colour when the lights change direction. It’s a rather hypnotic effect and something I expect to see in the hands of a pop star.

Jewellery:
There’s really only one choice to make: let the bags and the shoes I just mentioned steal the spotlight and choose some delicate and classy jewelleryto highlight it or go all out with a statement piece around your neck or fingers.
If you choose the first option, let these Valentino earrings with small golden crabsget you thinking about the incoming summer at the beach. David Yurman’semerald-covered ring leaves a delicate yet powerful impression but if you go for the second option, there are so many things to choose from.
Akong has a whole range of rainbow-coloured necklaces with big statement stones on golden settingsand Bvlgari always come up with new interpretations of their snake theme.

Scarves and other beautiful things:
What about a Balmain belt just like Rihanna wears in their adverts (if you needed another reason to wear denim)? Or a gorgeous Diane von Furstenberg scarf in red and purple tones with just a touch of refreshing yellow?
The season’s options are so exciting and full of pastels that it’s hard to wait for spring to come so you can wear them. Who knows, maybe if you display all these lively accessories, the snow might melt and the sun might get more generous with us. Have a happy and properly-accessorized spring, whenever it comes!
